Insurgents Suffer Heavy Casualties in Farah: MoD
According to Afghanistan defense ministry, terrorists have suffered heavy casualties in air and ground attacks by the army.
The Afghan security forces launched air operations on terrorist positions in Khak-e Safed district of Farah province, the ministry said in a statement.
21 armed oppositions including 7 Pakistani were killed and 10 other terrorists wounded during the operation, the statement added.
The ministry of defense also said, 4 terrorists were killed and 2 others wounded in central Uruzgan province during an air raid by the security forces.
