A spokesman for Iran foreign ministry asked Turkish authorities to respect the sovereignty of the neighboring countries and propensity of Syria and Iraq nations that have chosen their elected governments themselves.
Bahram Qasemi, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman besides dismissing the unacceptable and unjustified statements of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s president, urged from this country to respect the sovereignty of neighboring countries. Quoted from (Foreign media).
“Unfortunately, unfounded and interventionist and problematic statements of Turkish officials have continued toward its neighbors and they try to justify their interventionist and expansionist policies towards its neighbors by accusing others and repeating fictitious claims.” Qasemi added.
“Islamic Republic of Iran considers respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity of neighbors, the best option for strengthening and expanding relations among nations and countries and constructive dialogue with its neighbors, the best way to fortify relationships with them, instead of accusing them.” He asserted.
