Sources in northern Sar-e Pul province say that dozens of Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) families have been placed in the province.

Sources in northern Sar-e Pul province say that dozens of Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) families have been placed in the province.
Dozens of ISIS families from Faryab and Jawzjan provinces have been displaced in Sar-e Pul province, a source said.

“These ISIS families have been displaced between (Shatut) area of Sar-e Pul border and Jawzjan’s (Qush Tapa) and (Darzab) districts,” said Zabihullah Amani, the spokesperson for Sar-e Pul governor told DID news agency.
Mr Amani said the number of displaced ISIS families is unknown, but some of these families are foreigners.

However, the head of provincial council Mohammad Noor Rahmani rejected the news, said: there are no ISIS members in Sar-e Pul province but they are Taliban that fights against the government with different names.

This comes as reports from northern Sar-e Pul province indicated that ISIS openly recruit in Kohistanat district and other areas.
