A suicide bomber detonated his explosives at the entrance door of the ministry of rural rehabilitation and development about 1:00 pm (local time).
Following the explosion, Kabul police confirmed that 5 people were killed and 20 more wounded as result of the blast in PD-6. But Wahid Majroh, a spokesman for the ministry of health confirmed that as a result of the attack 12 dead bodies and 31 injuries have been transferred to hospital so far.
Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terror group claimed responsibility for the attack, Reuters reported.
