NSA Mohib Discusses Counter-Terrorism with Ambassadors of 5 Countries

Afghan National Security Adviser (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib and Intelligence Chief Mohammad Masoom Stanikzai met with the Ambassadors of five countries in capital Kabul, according to ONSC.

NSA Mohib and the chief of the National Directorate of Security Mohammad Masoom Stanikzai met with the Ambassadors of China, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan in Dilgosha Palace this morning, The Office of the National Security Council (ONSC) said in a statement.
The statement further added that the meeting focused on a joint fight against terrorism and strengthening regional cooperation.

According to the statement, the Ambassadors of the mentioned countries hailed the Afghan government’s efforts in the fight against terrorism and emphasized that their governments are ready to support Afghanistan.
The meeting comes as NSA Mohib has recently visited China, India, UAE, and Saudi Arabia and discussed peace and stability in the region.
