OIC and UAE condemn recent Terrorist attack in Afghanistan


The United Arab Emirates and OIC secretary-general have recently condemned the terrorist bombing that took place in Afghanistan.
“UAE condemned the recent terrorist attack in all its forms and manifestations,” said the country’s foreign ministry in a statement.
According to Emirate News Agency, the statement called for intensified and concerted efforts from the international community to ensure the eradication of the serious scourge of terrorism that is contrary to all moral and humanitarian values.

Meanwhile, The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC,) has condemned suicide attacks in the eastern Afghan city of Gardes that killed at least 33 persons, including women, children and police, and injured 160 others.
According to a statement on the OIC website, Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, Secretary-General of the organization, offered his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, government and people of Afghanistan and wished for a quick recovery for the injured people.
Dr. Al-Othaimeen reiterated the OIC’s solidarity with Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism.
