President Ghani in Herat to Assess General Status

Heading a high-level government delegation, President Ghani landed in western Herat province on Thursday morning to assess the general situation of the province.

The presidential palace said in a statement that President Ghani will separately meet with the provincial military and civilian officials, including Ulama, women, youths, provincial council members, civil activists and private sector representatives.

Arriving in the Province, the President named Herat International Airport after Khaja Abdullah Ansari International Airport
The aim of the visit is to assess the general situation of the province.
