Protests Erupt in Kabul, Stop Killing People!
Qiyam-e Milli movement and some other institutions marching Thursday in capital Kabul as deadly waves of suicide attacks killed scores.
The movement has called on the people to rally in protest of systematic suicide attacks on Save the children office in Nangarhar province, Intercontinental hotel in Kabul, the military academy and the deadly Saturday attack in Sedarat intersection.
The protestors also urged the media to cover the demonstration.
According to a statement by Qiyam-e Milli Movement, the demonstration begins at Shahr-e Naw park and will continue to Sedarat crossroads – where Saturday bloody attack took place.
“The Afghan Qiyam-e Milli Movement calls on the Afghan government to conduct serious investigations into recent incidents, as well as the prosecution of criminals,” the statement said.
This comes as recent terror attacks in Kabul claimed the lives of more than 130 people.
