An explosion took place around noon in Kabul PD-5 at the entrance gate of Marshal Fahim military academy.
“A suicide explosion occurred across from Marshal Fahim military academy in PD-5. The attacker was identified by a soldier and detonated himself,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, 6 people were killed and 6 others were wounded as a result of the suicide attack based on initial reports.
The police forces have begun an investigation into the incident.
No group has claimed responsibility yet.
