Farah governor’s spokesman Naser Mehri confirmed that Taliban insurgents collapsed “Anar Dara” district late Sunday but refused to give more details.
The images released on media indicate that armed Taliban surrounded the district building using the state-owned military vehicles.

According to reports, Taliban insurgents burn some part of the district and people are fleeing the area.
Taliban’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed Taliban killed the district police chief.
