Mr Dostum ordered his fans to put an end to protests in northern Afghanistan.
The IEC has also confirmed its offices opened in the north of the country.
“Sherkhan, Aqina, and Hairatan trade ports opened on Monday,” said Mohammad Taher Rahmani, the chairman of Faryab provincial council. “demonstrations ended in northern provinces as well. The people put an end to their protests under the leadership of first vice president, and their leader of Turk citizens,” he added.
The IEC spokesman Hafizullah Hashimi confirmed the provincial electoral offices have been opened on Monday.
Speaking among his fans in Kabul on Sunday, General Dostum asked his fans to end their protests in north of the country.
