Visiting Iraq; from Trump’s off Lights to Rouhani’s Bright Trip

In the Middle East, the United States is accused of creating and constructing terrorist groups for its continued presence in Iraq, as well as providing diplomatic and military support to countries accused of financing terrorism.

It was exactly 2003 that the three-decade dictatorship of Saddam Hussein ended in Iraq by US military expedition. Iraq was occupied and more than 100,000 US troops were stationed there. After that, the country witnessed the emergence and presence of terrorist groups such as ISIL, al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations.

Iran did not have any diplomatic relations with Iraq during the reign of Saddam Hussein when it was in the war with it. But now the main issue is that why the president of the United States goes to Iraq at night, without prior news, without ceremonies and secretly, but the Iranian president, during the day, with prior notice and welcomed by Iraqi officials.
Now, it is necessary to ask this question that why the US president secretly goes to Iraq, but the Iranian president publicly.

Basically, Donald Trump should have traveled to Baghdad with dignity and glory; as the new Iraqi government was made by the Americans. But the public opinions in the Middle East, on the one hand, the US complex game, on the other hand, and the abrupt emergence of terror groups in Iraq and Syria, pop up this metaphor in mind that America is “running with the hare and hunting with the hounds”.

In the Middle East, the United States is accused of creating and constructing terrorist groups for its continued presence in Iraq, as well as providing diplomatic and military support to countries accused of financing terrorism.

Iran, however, is trusted by public masses in the Middle East which has been hurt by terrorism and discriminated. Both Shiites and Sunni region of Iraq and Syria found Iran as a “best friend” and are confident that this country will not forget them. On the contrary, America and the west are ready for any kind of game to reach their strategic depth.

With regard to the mentioned issues, it is clear that the US president must secretly travel to Iraq, but the Iranian president, publicly and being warmly welcomed by Iraqi officials.
If one day the two presidents would write their memories from their trips to Iraq, president Trump would write: “secretly, off lights and with panic” and Rouhani would write this way: “openly, and being warmly welcomed by Iraqi officials”.
