“Mr Danish points to the presence of the first VP in the country as a major and influential figure, an essential step toward consolidating national agreement, enhancing peace process, holding the election and strengthening national unity,” the statement added.

According to the statement, Mr Dostum also welcomed the visit of the second VP Danish, and said: solving the problems of the country and consolidating the unity in this critical condition requires a broad view, efforts, and self-control.
The first VP Danish hoped that the country’s problems will be resolved soon in the area of trust, mutual cooperation, and respect.

This comes as Mohammad Mohaqiq, a member of the National Coalition for the Salvation of Afghanistan on Sunday said during a press conference in Mazar-e Sharif that “from now on, we will not say to bring back Gen. Dostum. We ourselves will bring him back to the country”.

The issue of returning General Dostum to the country is getting momentum while the situation in northern Afghanistan is critical over the detention of Nezamuddin Qaisari.
