Mr Kobia also said that the EU is trying to take 10 million Afghan citizens out of poverty.
“When the European Union looks at Afghanistan, we have the following ideas in mind: reconstruct, protect, save, rebuild, preserve, support. We also endeavor to take 10 million Afghans out of poverty. And most important: with respect and civility,” EU envoy twitted.
US President Donald Trump in his meeting with Pakistani PM Khan had said that the US cannot be the world police and if he wanted to win the war in Afghanistan, 10 million people would be killed Afghanistan could be wiped off the face of the earth.
Trump’s offensive remarks received widespread reactions across Afghanistan and some regional countries also condemned Trump’s statement.
