NSA Hamdullah Mohib:
We want Peace; But with those who have Authority to make Decision
Afghanistan’s NSA Hamdullah Mohib says that the Afghan people want peace; but with those who have the authority to make decisions, otherwise, we have hundreds of Afghans, who sacrifice their lives for the homeland, like General Raziq.
Speaking on Friday at the second ceremony of commemorating Gen. Abdul Raziq Achakzai, former commander of Kandahar province, NSA Hamdullah Mohib said: “we want peace, but with those who have the authority to make decision”.
Mr Mohib stressed that General Raziq in his life and after his martyrdom proved that the Afghan people, from Badakhshan to Herat, are proud that he sacrificed himself for the dignity and honour of the country.
“General Raziq is not alone, he is neither the first nor the last martyr of this country, the path he chose, I and many others are his followers,” he underlined.
General Raziq was assassinated in a shooting by a bodyguard of Kandahar governor on 18 October 2018 after holding a security meeting with the Resolute Support Commander. Taliban claimed the responsibility of the attack.
