According to official statistics released by the Ministry on Sunday, from 633 suspicious coronavirus cases, 174 were positive.
In the past 24 hours, 17 patients have died in the country, the Ministry said, adding that 1,181 have died since the outbreak of the virus in Afghanistan.
At the same time, 361 patients have been recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 23,641 nationwide.
