Afghanistan, Russia Make Headway in Economic Talks
DID Press: Afghanistan’s Caretaker Government said on Monday that economic negotiations with Russia have made significant progress, with bilateral relations reaching a high level.

Hamdullah Fetrat, deputy spokesperson of the caretaker administration, told RIA Novosti that both sides are reviewing several major projects aimed at boosting economic cooperation.
Political ties between Kabul and Moscow are also at their strongest, with Russia’s recognition of the “Acting Government” enhancing the country’s investment capacity in Afghanistan, he added.
Fetrat hoped new agreements will be signed and implemented soon.
