Iran’s Industry Minister Arrives in Kabul for Trade Talks

DID Press: Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade, Sayed Mohammad Atabak, arrived in Kabul on Monday at the head of a high-ranking economic and trade delegation.

During the visit, the Iranian delegation is expected to hold talks with senior Taliban officials, including acting ministers of industry and commerce, mines and petroleum, as well as representatives of the Afghanistan private sector.

The trip comes as part of ongoing bilateral consultations aimed at strengthening economic cooperation. Officials say the discussions can open new avenues for expanding trade ties and investment opportunities between Iran and Afghanistan.
