Hundreds of Muslims in Cologne, Germany held peace rally, condemning terrorism and violence in the name of religion under the slogan “terrorism does not have religion, race, home, and nation.
Over thousands of protesters gathered in the center of the city, carrying banners condemning the violence and any acts of terrorism anywhere in the world.
Lamia Kador, one of the organizers of the march said in an interview with Anadolu news agency that most of the Muslims in Europe who are the continent’s population, reject terrorism and religious violence and consider fighting against this phenomenon as their duty.
“We as Muslims in Germany condemn all forms of terrorism. Because, terrorism has no religion, sect and no nation,” Kador added.
