DID Press: Former vice president Kamala Harris claimed that US President Donald Trump was “pulled into” war with Iran by PM Benjamin Netanyahu, saying the conflict is one that “the American people do not want.”
Harris made the remarks during a Democratic Party fundraising event in Detroit, adding that Trump had placed the lives of American troops at risk.
In response, Netanyahu previously rejected the accusation, stating: “Does anyone really think that President Trump can be told what to do?”
However, reports that Trump did not consult his cabinet or close allies before entering the war have raised serious questions about the decision-making process surrounding the conflict.
