Russia’s Special Envoy Arrives in Kabul for Talks with Taliban Officials

DID Press: Russia’s special envoy for Afghanistan affairs, Zamir Kabulov, has arrived in Kabul on an official visit for discussions with Taliban authorities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Kabulov is scheduled to meet with Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi as well as other senior officials.

According to the statement, the talks will cover political and economic issues, along with other areas of mutual interest between the two sides.
