“The government should rethink journalists’ security and if journalists are killed or injured under the condition, the government will be held accountable,” the office of Nai stressed in a statement.
Journalists should carry out their career well. At the same time, they should know that there is no news or report worthy of their lives, part of the statement reads.
“Questions raised among the people and the media family about the suicide attacks on 30 April that the presidency should answer these questions. The government should seriously review this disaster as well,” Nai added.
Nai also expects from the government, the UN and the human rights commission to recognize 30 April as crimes of war and crimes against humanity.
On 30 April 2018, 29, including 9 journalists were killed and 46, including 7 journalists injured during a suicide attack which Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack.
