Mazar-e-Sharif Hosts Solidarity Event Honoring Minab Victims

DID Press: A cultural and humanitarian event titled “From Minab to Mazar-e-Sharif; A Story of Innocent Solidarity” was held in northern Afghanistan’s Balkh province, bringing together children, cultural figures, activists and local residents in a display of sympathy and unity.

The gathering took place in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif and focused on honoring the victims of the recent Minab incident while expressing solidarity with affected families.

Participants emphasized the importance of compassion, human solidarity and collective support for victims of violence and tragedy. Organizers said the program aimed to convey the Afghan people’s message of sympathy to those impacted by the incident in Minab.

During the ceremony, children performed cultural programs and special songs to express grief and support for the victims’ families. Speakers at the event highlighted the role of culture and art in strengthening empathy and human connection across societies.

Several participants also called for greater attention to victims of violence and stronger support mechanisms for affected families, stressing that human suffering transcends geographical borders and that nations should stand together in times of tragedy.
