Mujahid Rejects Islamabad Allegations Over Bannu Attack as “Baseless”
DID Press: Zabiullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of Taliban, has strongly rejected recent claims by Pakistani officials alleging that the attack on a police center in Bannu was planned from within Afghanistan, calling the accusations “baseless.”

In an official statement, Mujahid said that the Afghan authorities consider the resolution of bilateral issues between Afghanistan and Pakistan possible only through dialogue, mutual respect, and constructive cooperation, rather than accusations or emotional rhetoric.
He reiterated that Afghan territory will not be used against any country, and that no individual or group will be allowed to carry out activities from Afghan soil that threaten regional security and stability.
Pakistani officials had earlier claimed that the attack on the police facility in Bannu, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, was planned and coordinated from Afghanistan. Kabul has consistently denied such allegations.
