DID Press: A powerful suicide bombing struck near a security facility adjacent to the railway station in Quetta city on Sunday morning, killing at least 30 people and injuring 70 others, according to local authorities.

Health officials in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province confirmed that 30 bodies have been found so far following the blast, while 70 wounded individuals are currently receiving treatment. Several of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
Security sources said the explosion occurred close to a government security installation near the railway station. The blast was strong enough to be heard across multiple parts of the city. The area was immediately cordoned off by security forces following the incident.
Balochistan has experienced repeated attacks in recent years, often linked to militant or separatist groups operating in the region. Authorities say preliminary findings suggest the security facility may have been the intended target.
