Gaza Rescue Spokesperson Warns Humanitarian Crisis Is Deepening Daily

DID Press: The spokesperson for the civil defense and rescue services in Gaza Strip says the humanitarian situation in the enclave is deteriorating sharply, warning that restrictions and shortages are placing civilians and displaced families under mounting pressure.

Mahmoud Basal said the humanitarian conditions in Gaza have not improved and are becoming increasingly severe on a daily basis.

He criticized extensive restrictions imposed on the territory, stating that they are severely limiting access to basic necessities for the population.

Basal also highlighted the harsh living conditions in displacement camps, noting that tents lack essential facilities needed for dignity, safety, and privacy.

He further warned about damaged and structurally weakened buildings across Gaza, describing them as an immediate threat to civilian lives amid ongoing humanitarian strain.
