DID Press: A former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer, John Kiriakou, has made controversial claims that financier Jeffrey Epstein was involved in intelligence-related activities beyond his known criminal and financial cases.
Kiriakou said Epstein maintained contacts with multiple international intelligence agencies, including the CIA, the FBI, British intelligence services, and Israel’s intelligence service, Mossad.
He further alleged that Epstein may have worked in ways that aligned with intelligence-gathering operations, including identifying influential individuals for potential leverage.
The former CIA officer also claimed that there were attempts to establish contact between Epstein and Russian President Vladimir Putin, although these efforts were reportedly rejected by Russian authorities.
Epstein, who faced major criminal charges involving sexual abuse of minors, died in a New York jail in 2019. His case continues to generate global controversy due to alleged links with political, financial, and media figures.
