UNAMA Launches Independent Dari and Pashto Websites for Afghanistan
DID Press: United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has launched dedicated standalone websites in Dari and Pashto for the first time, aimed at improving access to information for Afghan citizens.

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan said the initiative is designed to expand public access to reports, updates, and activities in the country’s national languages.
Previously, UNAMA only maintained language-specific pages on Facebook, without separate full websites for Dari and Pashto audiences.
According to the mission, the new platforms allow users to easily switch between languages and access content in a more structured and user-friendly format.
UNAMA encouraged citizens to visit the new websites and share feedback, suggestions, and comments to improve its communication and outreach services.
