DID Press: Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has dismissed reports that it shared information about Iran’s nuclear program with the United States, describing the claims as “completely baseless.”

The ministry strongly denied allegations that Ishaq Dar provided information related to Iran’s nuclear activities to Marco Rubio during recent contacts.
The response came after Larry Johnson claimed that information concerning Iran’s alleged efforts to preserve its “strategic independence” had been conveyed to U.S. officials during a meeting in Washington on May 29.
In the United States, Rubio also rejected reports that Washington had received any message suggesting Iran was prepared to test a nuclear weapon if tensions continued.
The allegations emerged amid heightened tensions involving Iran and the United States, including reports of clashes in the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian missile strikes targeting U.S. facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain.
