US Accuses Taliban of Violating Counterterrorism Commitments
DID Press: US has accused the Taliban of failing to meet its international counterterrorism obligations, alleging that the group is sheltering militant networks and detaining American citizens.

Speaking at the UNSC meeting, US representative Jeffrey Bartos said the Taliban have not complied with their commitments under counterterrorism frameworks and warned that normalization of relations depends on behavioral change and progress in the Doha process.
He added that such actions continue to raise serious concerns within the international community.
