Maariv: Netanyahu Has Driven the Middle East Toward Devastation
DID Press: Israeli newspaper Maariv has published a sharply critical analysis accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of leading Israel—and the wider Middle East—toward escalating destruction through prolonged military conflicts and political miscalculations.

According to the report, Netanyahu has launched a series of “endless wars” under the belief that Israel had little left to lose, aiming to reshape the regional order through force.
Maariv argues that Netanyahu has now confronted two realities: first, that any attempt to reshape the region has instead pushed it into a worse and more unstable condition; and second, that contrary to his assumptions, significant political and national stakes remain at risk.
The newspaper also warned that, ahead of upcoming elections, Netanyahu may resort to increasingly reckless decisions.
It concluded with a pointed remark suggesting that if he wishes to do the country a favor, he should step down and allow others to begin rebuilding what it describes as widespread damage.
