DID Press: Leaders of Yemen’s Houthi movement and Lebanon’s Hezbollah have said Iran’s confrontation with the United States and Israel has altered regional power dynamics and contributed to a ceasefire on Lebanon’s northern front.

In separate statements, Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi described Iran’s actions as a “strategic achievement for the Axis of Resistance,” accusing the United States and Israel of committing what he called “criminal acts” against the peoples of the region.
Al-Houthi also warned against any Israeli presence in the self-declared region of Somaliland.Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s parliamentary bloc, known as the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, praised Iran’s stance and claimed that Tehran’s resilience had compelled Israel and the United States to halt attacks and accept a ceasefire on Lebanon’s northern front.
The bloc said recent developments had created a “new equation” in the region.The statements come amid heightened regional tensions and renewed focus on Iran’s role in Middle Eastern security dynamics by regional and international actors.
