Iran, Taliban Emphasize Expansion of Academic Cooperation
DID Press: Taliban’s Ministry of Higher Education and Iran’s ambassador in Kabul have discussed expanding scientific, educational, and university-level cooperation between the two countries.

The ministry said Higher Education Minister Neda Mohammad Nadim met with Iranian Ambassador Alireza Bigdeli in Kabul, where both sides reviewed ways to strengthen academic ties and enhance collaboration between universities and research institutions.
The two sides also discussed leveraging existing capacities to improve joint cooperation in higher education and expressed readiness to broaden academic exchanges between Iran and Afghanistan.
Officials emphasized that expanding scientific and educational relations remains a key pillar of bilateral engagement between Kabul and Tehran, with both parties committed to continuing consultations in this field.
