DID Press: Opposition alliance leader in Pakistan’s parliament Mehmood Khan Achakzai has warned that internal instability poses a greater threat to the country than external security challenges, urging adherence to constitutional rule and democratic principles.

Achakzai criticized the current political leadership, saying Pakistan’s ongoing political and security crises stem from flawed internal policies and decisions.
He cautioned that continued instability could have serious consequences for national security and long-term stability.
The opposition leader called for urgent measures to manage the crisis and stressed that all state institutions must operate within the framework of the constitution while respecting democracy and the rule of law.
He also emphasized the need for national unity and political dialogue among all parties, arguing that resolving Pakistan’s challenges requires adherence to legal and constitutional norms and respect for the will of the people.
