Arbaeen Ceremonies Held Across Kandahar Mosques and Religious Centers

DID Press: Arbaeen mourning ceremonies commemorating Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) were held with large participation of devotees at mosques and religious gatherings across Kandahar, where participants honored the memory of the Karbala martyrs and received hospitality from organizers.

Arbaeen gatherings were organized in various parts of Kandahar with strong public attendance. At the Imam Zaman (Aj) religious gathering, mourners participated in remembrance ceremonies honoring the sacrifices of Imam Hussein and the martyrs of Karbala, followed by food distribution for attendees.

The Sadeqiya Mosque in Kandahar also hosted an Arbaeen ceremony attended by a number of devotees, featuring religious programs and mourning rituals.

Meanwhile, the Martyrs’ Cemetery of Fatemiya Grand Mosque held another Arbaeen gathering, where participants recited prayers, listened to elegies and took part in mourning ceremonies dedicated to Imam Hussein.
