Noor: Afghanistan Needs Political Solution, Not Another War

DID Press: Atta Mohammad Noor, leader of Afghanistan’s Jamiat-e Islami party, said at an online meeting marking the fifth anniversary of the fall of the republican system that opponents of Afghanistan’s current government want to find a solution for the country without restarting the war.

He emphasized that opposition groups should come together under an inclusive, Afghanistan-wide umbrella to chart a common path for the country’s future.

Noor once again stressed the need for a political solution and avoiding war.
