DID Press: US President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 33%, its lowest level since he began his second term in January 2025, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

The poll found that 64% of respondents disapproved of Trump’s performance, while 3% declined to provide an answer.
The survey also found that 80% of respondents believe the conflict between the United States and Iran is likely to be prolonged, while 16% expect the fighting to end within several weeks.
According to previous Reuters/Ipsos polls, Trump’s approval rating during his second term had not fallen below 34%, a level recorded in April and June. His highest approval rating of the second term was 47%, recorded in January 2025.
The latest poll was conducted from August 14 to 17 among 1,166 U.S. adults.
