DID Press: Afghan taekwondo athlete Mohammad Golmohammadi has won a bronze medal at the eighth edition of the World Taekwondo Federation President’s Cup – Asian Region after defeating his Pakistani opponent in the poomsae event.
Golmohammadi secured third place in the competition, earning Afghanistan’s delegation a bronze medal.
The tournament is being hosted in Lahore, Pakistan, with athletes from more than 30 countries taking part.
Afghanistan’s national taekwondo team is also competing in the tournament, with its athletes participating in various events in pursuit of medals and greater international experience.
