Taliban Says Juma Khan Fateh to Face Trial

DID Press: Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said Juma Khan Fateh, a rebellious Taliban commander in Afghanistan’s northeastern Badakhshan province, will be referred to judicial authorities for trial after his case is completed and the allegations against him are reviewed.

Mujahid said Fateh’s trial will be conducted within the Taliban’s judicial system.He did not provide further details about the charges against Fateh or specify when he would be referred to the courts.
