Educational Supplies Distributed to 405,000 Students in Herat

DID Press: The distribution of educational supply packages to approximately 405,000 students in grades one through six has begun in schools across Herat city and surrounding districts.

The assistance, prepared at a cost of more than 142 million Afghanis, includes pens, stationery and other educational materials.

Teaching aids for teachers and administrative supply packages are also expected to be provided to schools as part of the program.

Officials said the initiative aims to reduce difficulties caused by shortages of educational supplies and provide better learning conditions for students in schools across Herat city and its districts.
