Afghan Artist Takes Fifth Place at Iran’s “Outstanding Woman” Festival

DID Press: Nilofar Hashemzadeh, an Afghan female artist, has secured fifth place in the handicrafts category at Iran’s “Outstanding Woman” Festival, competing among 1,500 participants.

Hashemzadeh also received the festival’s third-degree distinction in the handicrafts category, placing her among the event’s selected winners.

The festival brought together artists and participants from various fields, with Hashemzadeh earning recognition for her work in traditional handicrafts.

Her achievement highlights the presence and artistic contribution of Afghan women and Afghanistan’s handicraft traditions among participants at the Iranian festival.
