Taliban Close Rah-e-Farda TV Office in Kabul
DID Press: Taliban closed the office of private broadcaster Rah-e-Farda TV in Kabul on Sunday, according to local sources.Sources said the station’s office is located in western Kabul, near the public relations office of Hazara and Shia community leaders, which was also surrounded by Taliban forces on Sunday.

The Taliban have not provided an explanation for the closure of Rah-e-Farda TV.The Taliban administration suspended Rah-e-Farda’s broadcasts in March 2026, but the station was allowed to resume operations in June after receiving a new license.
The Taliban have previously raided the office of Tamadon TV and halted its operations. The Khatam al-Nabieen seminary is also reportedly surrounded by armed personnel from the Taliban’s Ministry of Justice.
