Iranian Delegation Stresses Expansion of Economic Ties With Afghanistan

DID Press: Dr. Mohsen Zanganeh, head of the Iranian delegation in Kabul, has highlighted Afghanistan’s economic potential and prospects for growth, saying the country could experience one of the region’s strongest economic expansions over the next 10 years.

Zanganeh, head of the Iranian delegation from Iran’s Parliament, was among the main speakers at the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Referring to Afghanistan’s economic potential, he said: “Dear Afghanistan will rank first in the region in terms of economic growth acceleration over the next 10 years.”

He also stressed the importance of expanding economic relations between Iran and Afghanistan. The Iranian delegation’s presence in Kabul was accompanied by a warm welcome and hospitality from Afghan officials and the public.

The exhibition was held to showcase Afghanistan’s economic and trade potential and create opportunities for expanding economic cooperation.
