DID Press: Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has warned the United States and Israel that Iran’s armed forces have prepared a plan for a conflict more devastating than the previous 12-day and 40-day wars.
Rezaei said repeated threats by US and Israeli officials would not change realities on the ground. He added that Iran’s new operational plan would not follow the rules or expectations familiar to its adversaries.
His remarks underscored Iran’s stated military readiness for a possible new round of hostilities and warned of the consequences of any further military action against the country.
Rezaei’s statements come amid continued tensions between Tehran, Washington and Tel Aviv. In earlier remarks, he also warned that Iran would respond more forcefully if military attacks resumed.
