DID Press: CNN has reported that concerns over a potential Republican defeat in the US congressional midterm elections, alongside the fallout from the war with Iran, have intensified internal divisions and power struggles within Donald Trump’s administration.

According to the report, the White House, which had previously been built around loyalty to Trump, is now facing growing distrust, internal leaks and pressure on several senior administration officials. Changes in some positions, including the removal of the US ambassador to Greece and the White House spokesperson, have also been discussed in this context.
Meanwhile, the position of White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has become the subject of speculation over possible changes to the administration’s leadership structure. CNN reported that some officials and Trump allies fear that, if Republicans lose the elections, the president could blame those around him for the electoral setback and launch a new wave of dismissals.
The US congressional midterm elections are scheduled for November 3. The outcome could alter the balance of power in Congress and increase political pressure on the Trump administration.
