DID Press: China and Pakistan have warned of the potentially catastrophic consequences of renewed military hostilities between Iran and the United States, urging a diplomatic resolution to disputes over Tehran’s nuclear program at the United Nations Security Council.

Fu Cong, China’s representative to the United Nations, criticized US attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, stressing that double standards must end and dialogue should continue to prevent a further escalation of the crisis.
