DID Press: US Senator Bernie Sanders has called for an end to the war against Iran and urged Democrats to cut off funding for the conflict.
Citing the deaths of 19 US service members, thousands of civilian casualties, the waste of tens of billions of dollars in American taxpayer money and a sharp surge in fuel prices, Sanders described the war as “illegal and horrific.”
He stressed: “The American people sent a clear message on Tuesday. Democrats must cut off funding for this horrific war.”
