Afghan Security Delegation Discusses Peace with Gen. Bajwa

Afghan Interior Minister Massoud Andarabi and senior security and military officials were part of the delegation.
The talks were held in Rawalpindi. The Pakistani side was led by Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa. Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood also attended the meeting.
“They discussed the Afghan peace process, cooperation on counterterrorism, and regional economic connectivity,” the office of NSA twitted.
Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Atif Mashal earlier said that the Pakistan army chief had extended an invitation to the Afghan side.
