Bomb Blast in Helmand Killed 11 Civilians

At least 11 civilians were killed when a mine exploded in Lashkargah city of southern Helmand province, provincial officials confirmed.


Sources said that eleven civilians, including women and children, were killed when a roadside bomb exploded in Lashkargah, the capital of Helmand province.

The explosion took place when a civilian vehicle hit a roadside mine on Thursday morning. Security officials in Helmand said that 11 people, including women and children, were killed during the incident.

It is worth mentioning that roadside bombings in Afghanistan have mostly claimed civilian lives.
