Medvedev: Deadlines leading Russia and US to direct war

DID Press: Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Head of the Russian National Security Council, reacted sharply to Donald Trump’s recent remarks about setting a deadline for Moscow, describing it as a “dangerous step” towards tension and military conflict.

He stressed that the US deadlines against Russia are a direct threat and if this path continues, the possibility of a direct war will incease between the two countries.

Referring to Washington’s pressure on Trump, Medvedev also warned that the US president must understand the difference between Russia and countries such as Iran and Israel.

The reaction came after Trump announced that the 50-day deadline previously set for Russia has now been reduced to 10 to 20 days
